Torah Scroll Inauguration After the Cork Jewish Synagogue closed in 2016, the Cork Jewish Community reorganised meeting mostly at people’s homes. Sadly the community did not own a Torah scroll which is the pillar of Jewish religious services. In March 2023, the Agudas Achim-Ezrath Israel synagogue in Gloucester, Massachusetts, USA, very generously donated one of their own Torah scrolls. The Cork Jewish Community warmly invites the public to join them in the festive inauguration of this Torah scroll, led by Rabbi David Kudan. Due to limited space prebooking is essential on info@corkjewishcommunity.ie 7pm to 9pm, Cork City Hall, Anglesea Street.
