Heritage Week is back in real life and Cork city is celebrating by organising a jam-packed fun filled programme of events!
National Heritage Week, an initiative by the Heritage Council, celebrates all things heritage and is coordinated in Cork city by the Cork City Council Heritage Officer. It brings together communities, families, organisations, cultural institutions, academics, and enthusiasts, to build awareness about the value of heritage and support its conservation. Cork Heritage Open Day Organised by Cork City Council, Cork Heritage Open Day sees over 40 historic and heritage buildings open their doors to the public for free for one day only. As part of Cork Heritage Open Day, a series of talks, exhibitions, historic walking tours and children’s events will take place.
