Cork City Libraries Cycling Cities: The Cork Experience

Kevin Long of Cork Cycling Campaign presents a photo exhibition and talk on an exciting research project with the University of Eindhoven to explore our history of cycling in Cork for everyday life. 2.30pm to 3.30pm, The City Library, Grand Parade.

Shandon Area Renewal Association Guided Audio Tour of Shandon

Starting on the Shandon Footbridge enjoy a guided audio tour of the Shandon area. Discover historic locations and places where famous people lived. 4pm to 5pm, Shandon Footbridge.

Nano Nagle Place Nano Nagle Place Markets Visit Nano Nagle Place for a weekend of outdoor markets with local artisans, craftspeople and designers. 11am to 4pm, Nano Nagle Place, Douglas Street. Douglas Tidy Town River Walk and Water Quality Sampling in Ballybrack Woods Join Ecological Consultant Letizia Cocchiglia on a walk along the river in Ballybrack Woods (the Mangala) to learn more about the aquatic life in our rivers as well as what they tell us about our water quality. 11am to 12.15pm, Outside Douglas Community Centre, Church Road, Douglas.
