Participants will enhance their understanding of LGBT+ identities and challenge their own biases to become better LGBT+ advocates. 11.00 - 12.00 HRS One Book One Community Cork City Libraries Blackpool Library, Redforge Rd, T23 AP11 ART / CREATIVE||LITERATURE Seven Northside schools come together to read and celebrate one book - this year, Holes by Louis Sachar. The students create art inpsired by the novel, to be displayed in Blackpool Library, and stage a concert, also held in the library. The 7 schools involved are, North Pres Primary, St Vincent’s Primary & Secondary, North Mon Primary & Secondary, the AG, Gaelscoil Pheig Sayers and Blarney Street.

Come to this friendly chat event and learn more about the Black Ash Traveller Oral History project; the traditions and lives of the families who lived there. Talk accompanied by art exhibition (running for the week).
