Shortlist Award Rang Corca Dhuibhne, Colaiste Daibhéid promoted aspects of the culture of the school with the wider community and spread the use of conversational Irish in their locality and among businesses across the city centre by designing posters with simple everyday phrases.

Little Peas Project by BEAG Early Years Arts Programme is an innovative creative ecology project centred around growing and learning, designed by visual artist Rachel Doolin in collaboration with Irish Seed Savers Association. Little Peas has a strong focus on creativity and play as a tool to foster healthy connections to food, sustainability, and the environment.

YOUTH & COMMUNITY LEARNING

Award Winner Joan Denise Moriarty school of Dance is committed to providing dance training that is tailored to help each individual student reach their full potential in a creative, stimulating and supportive environment – more than a parade or a festival it’s an inclusive community project making dancing accessible to all and instilling a lifelong love of dance.

Award Shortlist ‘To Be Who We Are’ Traveller Creative Engagement Project Theatre- maker Eszter Neìmethi facilitated participant led workshops with over 30 Traveller children across the north-west area of the city guided by the interests of the children involved, supporting the expression of their own creativity, and individuality and exploring what their culture means to them.

Award Shortlist Musical Neighbourhoods was formed in 2021 to support lifelong music learning in local neighbourhoods by three music education providers working with Music Generation Cork City - Creative Tradition, GMC Beats at the Kabin and Music Mash Up, to create music making opportunities in the Northwest of the city for all members of the community.
