AIRPORT HILL PAVEMENT RENEWAL CONTRACT (€1.5m) Contractor appointed. Work exp ected to commence in the coming weeks. A six-week work programme.
CORK CITY NORTHERN TRANSPORT PROJECT (formerly Cork North Ring Road) Design Team for the route selection process has been appointed. Section 85 Agreement is being prepared. Route selection process will be concluded by the end of 2023. Project website, logo, name have been agreed with TII & Project Team. Strategic Assessment Report (SAR) submitted to Department of Transport prior to it being issued to DPER.
M/N20 CORK LIMEICK MOTORWAY Route selection process is underway. Selection of the preferred route is expected in the New Year. Project Phasing being considered.
N40 SARSFIELD & BANDON RD FLYOVER PROJECT Settlement of the pavement continues to be monitored. The Contractor has undertaken several repairs and has agreed to complete other repairs to the pavement where cracking & settlement has occurred.

SKEHARD ROAD- PHASE 3 CHURCH ROAD TO BESSBORO JUNCTION Construction ongoing.
MCCURTAIN STREET PUBLIC TRANSPORT IMPROVEMENT SCHEME Procurement of the contractor for main works is underway. Advance works contract is nearing completion. PASSAGE GREENWAY ENHANCEMENT CONTRACT Phase 1 (Mahon to Docklands) C onstruction ongoing. Phase 1 (The Marina to Blackrock Station) has reopened. Phase 4 (N40 to Mahon) has reopened. The contractor is now working on Phase 2 (Blackrock Station to Skehard Rd). The new pedestrian/cycle bridge will be lifted into place in December. PASSAGE GREENWAY ENHANCEMENT CONTRACT Phase 2 (Mahon to Passage) (€4.0 million) First round of early consulta tion is concluded. Design of the preferred route is complete. Planning to commence before the end of the year. LEGHENAGHMORE ROAD WIDENING & REALIGNMENT PROJECT Design Team is appointed. Part 8 planning is approved. The project requires land acquisition (28 distinct plots). Land acquisition negotiations ongoing via Valuation Team. CLARKE’S HILL Design and planning is complete. Land Acquisition discussions are underway. Negotiations are ongoing re. part funding of the project with TII.
