LEO National Women’s Enterprise Day This year’s national Women’s enterprise Day took place online Thursday 7 th October. The theme was ‘ Build the Future’ and broadcaster Aine Kerr, hosted the event chatting with some of Ireland’s most inspiring female entrepreneurs and businesswomen for a day of inspiration and learning. After the session was opened by An Táinaiste Leo Varadkar some guest speakers included Gerry Duffy, Larissa Feeney and Louise McDonnell to name a few. Each of the 31 LEO’s had a Leading Light with this year’s Cork City representative being Somas Studio.
The Cork City Student Enterprise Programme 2021/2022 launched on 22 nd October. The Cork City Student Enterprise Programme has been involved with the schools since 2004 and gives students an opportunity to experience first-hand how a business is set up and developed. The City Final will take place on Tuesday 15 th March 2022.
