Active Recreation Study In relation to the Active Recreation Infrastructure Study for Cork City the consultants over the next couple of weeks are carrying out an online survey, which is aimed at members of or representatives of sporting and active recreation organisations in Cork City. The survey will be live for two weeks from today (the 8 th ) until Monday the 22 nd . A link to this online survey is :http://bit.ly/corkrecreation * this link should not be accessed through the city council’s VPN. The overall study seeks to audit the quality and quantity of existing active recreation infrastructure in the City; understand the needs of its sporting and active recreation organisations; and advise as to the level of infrastructure required for the future. The survey therefore will help give accurate and up to date information to help with understanding what is in place currently and what needs to be put in place for the future. Heritage Unit The Community Heritage Grant Scheme and Publication Grant Scheme have been advertised. There is also a draft Cork City Heritage Plan being prepared for which public consultation will be sought over the coming weeks. A number of radio adverts will take place in February on the Biodiversity winter wellness resources available from Cork City Council
