Detailed design for the public realm enhancement of South Main Street, Tuckey Street, Proby’s Quay , Sullivan’s Quay, etc. is complete. Pa rt 8 planning process is complete. Construction tender to commence in early 2022.
MARINA PARK PHASE 2 Design Team appointed. Preliminary design process is underway. Design report and related plans and images are complete.
NEW HORGAN’S ROAD (NORTH DOCKS) Tender documents for the selection of a design team are under development.
BISHOP LUCEY PARK Detailed Design is progressing aimed at construction tender in Q2 2022.

DALY’S BRIDGE: Project close out is underway.
BANNOW BRIDGE, GRANGE ROAD BRIDGE, BLACKSTONE BRIDGE & HEALY’S BRIDGE Project close out is underway.
PRINCIPAL INSPECTIONS OF BRIDGE AND CULVERT STRUCTURES WITHIN CORK CITY BOUNDARY 2020 Project completed.
PARLIAMENT BRIDGE : (North-west wing wall - partial collapse of a section of the masonry buttress, exposed and dislodged backfill material, substantial bulge in the masonry façade) Project completed.
GLYNTOWN BRIDGE, CLASH ROAD BRIDGE, MYRTLE HILL BRIDGE, FOURMILE BRIDGE, WYSE’S BRIDGE & HOLLYMOUNT JUNCTION CULVERT Consultant appointment. Preliminary Design commenced.
CARRIGROHANE BRIDGE Preparation of documents commenced leading to the appointment of a consultant.
New Cycle Lanes
HORGANS QUAY Construction of the inbound cycle lane is complete. Road Safety Audit & Final Account discussions ongoing.
CENTRE PARK ROAD Construction of the outbound cycle lane is complete.
MONAHAN’S ROAD Construction of the inbound cycle lane is complete.
SOUTH MALL Construction of two-way cycle lanes and related street repairs is complete. Planter installation scheduled for December.
VICTORIA ROAD, ALBERT QUAY & TERENCE MACSWINEY QUAY Construction is complete. Minor additional scope will be undertaken in the coming weeks.
DONOVAN’S ROAD, COLLEGE ROAD, MAGAZINE ROAD TO GLASHEEN LINK Donovan’s Rd and College Rd are complete. Glasheen and Magazine Link is substantially complete.
MELBOURN ROAD AND ROSSA AVENUE Construction of cycle lanes are substantially complete.
CURRAHEEN ROAD CYCLE PROJECT Preliminary Design is complete. Section 38 planning is underway.
KNAPP’S SQUARE CYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN UPGRADES Detailed Design is underway.
