Discussions ongoing with adjoining developers/land owners Re SHD’s and requirements for set aside lands.

Detailed Design and preparation of construction contract documents for Phase 1A is complete. Roads Capital Programme: DUCGS & NTA Funded Project: MARY ELMES PEDESTRIAN & CYCLE BRIDGE (€5.2 million) The bridge project is complete. The repaving of Harley’s Street is complete. Project close out is underway including completion of final snags. Roads Capital Programme: LIHAF Funded Projects: DOCKLANDS TO CITY CENTRE PROJECT (€6.5 million) Detailed design process underway. Revised planning documents are under review by Legal Team. GLANMIRE ROADS IMPROVEMENT SCHEME Compulsory Purchase Order has been submitted to An Bord Pleanala, oral hearing was postponed from 20 th of April now due to take place in Q1 2021. Section 50 applications for new bridges are awaiting OPW approval and detailed design is continuing. A section 38 for traffic calming Brooklodge Grove is currently out for consultation. MONAHAN ROAD EXTENSION (€5 million) Design Team has been appointed. Preliminary design work is underway. Land Acquisition requirements have been confirmed. Urban Regeneration & Development Fund: EASTERN GATEWAY BRIDGE The draft appraisal brief & related tender documents as per DPER Public Spending Code requirements are complete. The Appraisal tender documents will be issued to the NTA & LDA for their input prior to publication. Considering options re. the incorporation of bridges and roads into one planning process. BEAMISH & CRAWFORD QUARTER INFRASTRUCTURE The appraisal process for the selection of the bridges at Proby’s Quay and Crosses Green is progressing as is the detailed design for the public realm enhancement o f South Main Street, Tuckey Street, Proby’s Quay, Sullivan’s Quay, etc. MARINA PARK PHASE 2. Preparation of design team brief and other related documents is complete. Bridge Repair and Rehabilitation Projects: DALY’S BRIDGE: Bridge re-opened for public use on 19 th December 2020.
