Climate Awareness Training Update
Climate Ireland, on behalf of the Local Authority Services National Training Group, is delivering a comprehensive programme of climate training to all local authorities. The training programme consists of 6 pillars:
1. Championing Leadership – for senior management and elected members 2. Raising Awareness – for staff in back office roles
3. Building Capacity – for staff of the Council’s Climate Action Team 4. Empowering Change – for community and outward facing staff 5. Delivering Action – for outdoor staff 6. Actioning Policy – for staff with specific responsibility for implementation of the Council’s Climate Change Adaptation Strategy and Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan.
