- This submission calls for a focus on healthcare services relevant to older people in the LGBTI+.
This submission expresses concern about racism preventing access to healthcare services.
1.2.8 Leisure World
Leisure World is in strategic partnership with Cork and Kerry HSE Health Promotion teams, HSE Cork Physio Department, the Cork Sports Partnership, MTU and Community Games. This submission supports Service Delivery and Community Engagement and Service Delivery of leisure opportunities to enhance community well-being. It promotes the development of health and fitness enhancing recreation and the relevant sustainable investment in sports and leisure infrastructure to demonstrate attentiveness and enhance the customer experience, improve access and convenience for customers and communicate its positive social impacts. It seeks to better understand community leisure needs and needs of customers for accessibility, to be an advocate for “at risk” populations” and to develop environmentally friendly modern sports and leisure facilities.
