High Level Goal 2 – Partnership, Inclusion and Equality
2.1 Online survey feedback 2.1.1 Quantitative feedback
The clear signals from quantitative results are summarised below and show that: • There is a strong representation of older people and young participants. • Services for vulnerable people, older people and younger people are key concerns for survey respondents but the need for primary. • care, community safety and education and training also feature strongly.
• In terms of needed services, the need for affordable housing and public transport stands out particularly strongly. Support for more green spaces, more artistic activity in the city, more sporting and more waterfront activities is also notable. 2.1.2 Qualitative feedback • The need for more social inclusion was cited in relation several groups including single parents, migrants, LGBTI+, Disabled People/People with a disability., members of the Traveller community in response to questions 5, 6 and 11. • Flexible, affordable childcare was cited as a tool to enable greater inclusion of single parents in the workforce. • Equality was mentioned in one response to the online survey (in response to question 6) by a respondent requesting a dog park in their neighbourhood to facilitate neighbours “from all walks of life” who have the “common denominator” of dog ownership to meet as equals.
