U rban Towns Glanmire • Develop plan to create a vibrant, identifiable Town Centre for Glanmire • Undertake place making initiatives in the area. • Develop a facility for Glanmire Ladies Football Club. Engage with other sports clubs regarding their facilities. • Undertake work with Glanmire LEO to develop office and incubator start up units. • Establish a Community Safety Forum for Glanmire Blarney & Tower • Undertake land ownership survey of all public open space to plan to ensure Council ownership of this land. • Undertake with local residents to identify needs of local community and try to utilise currently vacant commercial sites to address them. • Incorporate findings of the Town Centre Health Check into the future plans for the area particularly concerning footpaths and other key areas • Establishment of Community Safety Forum for Blarney
