• Enhance accessibility and transparency in of all city governance and services with specific attention to digital accessibility making CCPPN and Cork City Council websites more user-friendly and live streaming public meetings and publishing minutes. • Foster the creation of inclusive community spaces, physical and digital. • Review and enhance protection of public representatives from targeted abuse (particularly women, LGBTI+, Traveller community, Disabled People/People with a disability and migrants) • Develop mechanisms to support continuity in government to ensure sound policies and safeguard from political change. • Allocate resources to support community groups that prioritise inclusion and equality. • Ensure all urban planning is proofed for accessibility and Disabled People/People with a disability including those with sensory needs. • Strengthen partnerships with NGOs, community groups and other key stakeholders to drive social inclusion initiatives. • Additional funding for youth and community services to deliver anti-racism programmes and bystander training programmes to work towards addressing racism in our communities. Put inclusion, diversity, and mass participation at the heart of arts and culture policy in the city. Specifically: • Embed the “Arts for All” charter in all partnership signatory organisations (by inviting them to sign) and identify and share best-practice. • Organise and support training to improve equality, accessibility, and inclusion for all in the arts. • Support actions that allow Cork city and region to become a European Centre for Excellence in the Inclusive Arts Expand the Arts Alliance to the new expanded city regions with a focus on including marginalised groups.
