The responses to this engagement were individual given on an individual basis and qualitative in nature. Participants were asked two questions: Firstly, “What is good now?” and “How could we make it better in the future?” While every response cannot be detailed, at a high level the responses that appear to be most relevant to this High-Level Goal in terms of informing actions are as given below and preceding, in brackets, with key themes that were put to participants: What is good now? (Moving Around) Rubbish dumping, better more accessible footpaths, better community coordination, (Public Transport) 202 bus service, better frequency (Traffic and Parking) Parking, traffic calming on Kilmore Road. (Streets and Spaces) Kilmore Road, the local stone named after the community area, better signage. (Natural Space) The new farm, Nash’s boreen now on accessible nature route (Play and Recreation) New farm field, Saint Vincent’s GAA club, Gerry O’Sullivan Park, Linkpoint (Facilities and Services) Lots of services and facilities, better communication about services in the area (Work and Local Economy) Some opportunities, people working in Apple, retail opportunities (Lidl/Supervalu) (Housing and Community) Good community spirit, decent mix of homes, satisfactory neighbours, less rough than it was, intergenerational mixing.
